Pre-Harvest 2017, September 30
Cana has prayed for 40 days, and trained and mobilized. Beginning October 01, we will begin hitting the streets with the message of Jesus. We are asking God to save at least 50 people and move them toward baptism on November 12. In order to accomplish this, however, it will take the concerted prayer efforts of every member and the impromptu willingness to share one’s faith. God has done such a great work before and we believe he is ready to work again. Sunday, October 01 will be one more opportunity to join a Reclaim Team. Already over 100 people are mobilized. Join the movement on Sunday at 9:15am or 10:45am.
On October 31, Cana will host four Fall Festivals: Oak Valley Park, Hidden Vistas, Centennial Park, and Bailey Lake Park.
40 Days of Harvest – Day 01: Sunday, October 01, 2017
On the first day of Harvest 2017, several of Cana’s Reclaim teams went out to tell Burleson people about Jesus and invite them to the Neighborhood Fall Festivals. They took door hangers and a smile with them. Several great conversations were had and a good bit of information was distributed! Burleson is a great place.
Day 02: Reclaim Idea for October 02, 2017
Schedule a time to visit your neighbors. Pick one side of your home or apartment per day and make a point to visit them. Taking homemade goodies is a good way to open the conversation. During your visit, ask them if they are willing to talk about spiritual matters. When they say yes, walk through the opportunity.
Day 11: Reclaim Idea for October 11, 2017
First, I have heard many reports of the Lord’s work. People are coming to faith in Jesus and teams are following up on those occasions. Keep up the work! To date we have visited almost 1000 homes.
Use the occasions around the coffee bar at work or the board room to speak about spiritual things. People are interested in spiritual matters. This is a great way to pivot to the Gospel. It’s important to keep in mind that our biblical solutions require, first, the power of the Holy Spirit through salvation in Jesus to be effective. Salvation precedes spiritual healing.
