Worship Ministry
The Worship ministry at Cana Baptist Church exists to allow our people the opportunity to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through music.
Adult Choir
Celebration Choir consists of a body of believers who enjoy lifting their voices in song and proclaiming that God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is worthy of our praise and adoration. The Celebration Choir meets every Wednesday evening to prepare to assist in leading worship on Sunday mornings. They typically sing a Call to Worship each week, and regularly prepare themselves for special presentations such as the Christmas musical and the Easter Pageant.
Easter Pageant
The Easter Pageant is the biggest single event in the Worship Ministry of our church every other year. We typically have a cast and choir of over 100 people and countless others who work behind the scenes to make the Easter Pageant a quality presentation that reaches many people in our community. We see people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus each year, and we are blessed with hundreds of visitors from our community who come to be a part of the pageant. We pray that God will continue to give us leadership as we offer up to Him this sacrifice of praise.
Children’s Choir
We have a Children’s Choir for children in grades 1 – 5 that meets on Wednesday nights in the Children’s area from 6:00 until 6:45 PM during the regular school year. This group is under the direction of Missy Tullos.
Preschool Choir
We also have a Preschool Choir for ages 4 through kindergarten that also meets on Wednesday nights in the Preschool area from 6:00 until 6:45 PM during the regular school year. This group is under the direction of Nancy Orr.
