Cana Baptist Church Children’s Ministries
Welcome to Access!
At Cana it is our passion for you to experience the love of our Lord Jesus in a friendly, high energy environment that is inviting yet secure. Biblical Truth is relevant to all aspects of a child’s development. It is our heart’s desire to guide the children into Christ-likeness and to assist them day-to-day.
We exist to help children Yield to God. To bring Him honor and glory and to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and Elevate themselves to His standards. To Shout and share His love with others and build a Team of Kids. Thus gaining Access to the Heavenly Father.
Here are some of our current opportunities:
YIELD
Our Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. for children up to the 5th grade. We meet in small groups and have age-related Bible study to learn God’s truths, how to apply them to our daily life and how to help others.
ELEVATE
Our Children’s Church begins at 10:30 a.m. This is a high energy, dramatic, outrageous, dynamic way for children to worship and study God’s word. It is taught in a contemporary style with drama, music, games and small group break out times.
S.H.O.U.T. – (Sharing Him Outreach Using Theater)
Meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. This is a great time for kids to come together and discover Biblical truths and principles using drama and creative art.
TEAMKID
TeamKid meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. This is a time when we discuss Bible teachings and how they help us today. We teach in a wide variety of ways such as skits, art, music, etc. Bible verse memorization is encouraged.
HOPE – (Helping Others Pursue Excellence)
For our special needs children, we offer love and support while teaching according to the child’s personal needs. We are here to encourage and help the entire family. Please call so we can best meet the individual needs of your child.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00. A time for kids to come together and worship God through song and drama. Special performances done during the year.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year we have many special events. We have V.B.S., camps, fellowships, festivals, etc. Please feel free to email, or call the church, 817-295-3891 or check the website calendar for more information.
WEE JAMMIN
Cana Baptist Church Preschool Ministry
Cana provides a loving, caring, clean, and safe environment for our little ones. Children learn at an early age that church is a place of love and safety. A sweet smile, a gentle touch, joyful laughter, and calmness all encourage children to grow in their understanding of God. We provide a loving Christ-centered preschool ministry that offers love and support to the whole family. We teach in a wide variety of ways according to a child’s development and age. Our nursery and the curriculum we use is well planned and well organized.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Begins at 9:15 a.m. for all ages
EXTENDED TEACHING CARE
10:45 a.m. for age’s birth-3 years old.
ELEVATE JR.
10:45 a.m. for ages 4-5. High energy, interactive Biblically driven teaching designed for our 4 and 5 year olds. Using interactive drama, awe some visuals and a wide variety of activities and games.
M.O.P.S. – (Mothers of Preschoolers)
Meets the second and forth Wednesday s of each month at 9:30 a.m. A great time for mothers of preschoolers to get together and learn from expert speakers, unique activities, and one another.
PLAYGROUP
This a great time for moms or caregivers of babies and preschoolers to get together and fellowship with one another as their children enjoy some playtime with friends.
